Sigma Tau Beta

On Thursday (her birthday) Allyson had a pretty awful stomach ailment that forced us to move Evan, who for the whole of his mortal existence has slept in Allyson’s room, to the boys’ room. It went surprisingly well, as the boys were quiet and calm when they went to bed, and all three slept well. So we decided to buy and set up bunk beds for Ryan and Isaac. We spent most of the day Saturday shopping for and setting up bunk beds, including buying the bed itself, a new mattress, and bedding.

After moving the boys in, I decided that the three of them together make for a noisy, smelly, crazy room, and it reminded me of a fraternity. So we have dubbed their room Sigma Tau Beta—STB, for Small Turner Boys, or Stinky Turner Boys, as Summer prefers. (This then reminds me of Sigma Tau Delta, the honor society for English studies; a professor once quipped that it’s unfortunate that English majors are honored by induction into STD.)

Anyhow, here’s a look inside at STB:
Ryan, as you can see, already has his party face on...

That room does not look smelly, though I can see the 3 boys being noisy and crazy =)
