Why is it...?
Why is it...?
...Evan started pulling himself up to standing the same day he crawled forward?
...Isaac asks so many questions that are impossible to answer?
...Ryan can remember every detail about the solar system, but can't remember that I asked him to take something to the trash?
...Allyson turned out to be a pack rat, when I am nothing like that?

Apparently you do not remember when you used to carry around a brown paper lunch sack chock full of 'stuff'. 'Treasures' might have been your excuse at the time. When the sack would finally become too tattered I would give you a fresh one and you would carefully transfer everything to the new sack - like getting a new purse and a new lease on life. Or the time you put all of your brand new play clothes in a BIG brown paper grocery sack that I had in the laundry room (that happened to have some old clothes in it) and I didn't find them until we were moving and you had outgrown them. That might have qualified as a packrat.
And while I am here, might I ask a general question? Perhaps someone out there knows the answer. Why it is when a person leaves a comment on a blog they must perform the 'word verification'? Are they checking our eyesight? Or perhaps want to know if we're literate? Is it an on-line breath test? What?
Pat,
The word verification is an option we use to prevent automated programs from posting spam comments. Human beings only! And it makes the blog seem more official...
