Dinosaurs and Other Monsters

Obviously, much has been going on of late. Evan is getting into a nice daily routine, and he sleeps well at night. The older kids started school this week. And I have some pending employment news that I'll share later this week. But Saturday we had a fun outing.

The kids have of late become quite taken with dinosaurs. Allyson has expressed the desire to be a paleontologist in her future. So Saturday we went to the Natural History Museum to see the dinosaurs. On the way in, Allyson and Ryan were adorable:
Once inside, visitors are greeted by a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton--quite a sight. Here the kids pose, apparently oblivious to the carnivore behind them:

The museum itself was a blast. I find great joy in the kids telling me all the stuff they know about prehistoric life. The circle has come around nicely. After we were done, we paused by another dinosaur:

Your weekend brings back fond memories of our trip to Vernal some 23 years ago.

For Cora it's a toss-up between Paleontology and Cryptozoology.
