A Request for our Readers
I love the blog and the ability it gives us to communicate with friends and family across the country. But there are some limitations to what Blogger can do, especially in terms of my work blog (royturner.blogspot.com). So I am running a beta version of the work blog on another platform, WordPress, which has most of the features I like on Blogger, along with the ability to upload files. This is of special interest to me, as I want in a blog the ability to post entries and attach to them materials from class--handouts, PowerPoint presentation, etc.
So, here is the request. Please check out the new blog at royturner.wordpress.com and let me know what you think. It's under construction, so there's not much to see yet, but it should give you a sense of what I'm going for. Constructive (or, I suppose, not-so-constructive) criticism is welcome. Thanks.
P.S.--If I move the work blog to WordPress, I may also consider migrating this blog over, so watch for updates down the road.

I think you'll like wordpress, we actually just started a blog there for work, I think it has more options than this one, good luck!

We use wordpress for our blog and I like it. I asked John why he picked it and he said, "Because we own a domain and out of all the blogging software I evaluated, it was the best." Sounds like a good reason, doesn't it?
